Color: cannot achieve a "GREEN" via color LCH?

Hi, strange question, but I cannot seem to achieve a greenish shade (ex: 0, 255, 0) when constructing colors via the L*AB or LCH method.

L*AB on left, LCH on right (all inputs range 0-1)

I noticed the .gh inputs are set to 0-1 range, but some(like “C” in lch are -1 to 1 in Rhinocommon)? I tried via c#, but still could not get to green.

Hi @chris.wawrousek,

There isn’t enough here for anyone to help. Are you writing a Rhino plug-in, a Grasshopper plug-in working in Grasshopper, or something else? Do you have code we can review?

Sorry Dale, I’ve tried in .gh and using a little Rhinocommon both. Please see the attached simple reference trying to go from RGB green to LCH and back. For all values of LCH into the GH component I cannot seem to generate a green shade.

I’ve re-categorized your post. Perhaps someone (here) is familiar with this color space.

Just bumping this up again in case anyone has any input here?

Thanks!
Chris

Hi @chris.wawrousek,

I’ve logged an issue so we can figure out what’s up.
