Closed curve extruding but then uncappable

Hello! You can see in this file I have a closed curve which I’m trying to extrude and cap. It’s extruding just fine, but when I cap it I’m being told it must have a closed planar loop of edges. Can someone please help with this?

Hi.

The closed curve in your file isn’t perfectly flat.

_ProjectToCPlane from TOP VIEW will fix that.
