I thought I had a good solution for varying the offsets of this pattern for laser cutting. Upon closer inspection all the offsets are degree 1. Is there a way to make them degree 3 single segments?
The component is called “Polyline Offset” so yes it results in polylines. What I do is use a mix of Reduce, Polyline Collapse, and Simplify Curve on the results to get rid of short segments and useless control points, then Interpolate Curve through the polyline Control Points.
Ok back to manually trimming everything.

Thanks for the tips. Reduce helped clean things up. I still couldn’t come up with an acceptable result. I’m getting a test section cut to see how it looks.
