Classic Style Table

An old work from about 10 years ago.
Looking back at it now, I see how bad I was at modeling back then.

@Ali_Paknahad : I love your work! Mainly because I love the barock style, chippendale, rococo etc. but also because it’s not easy to draw in Rhino and I think you’ve got a nice set of skills to do so. Thanks for sharing regularly!

Thank you…
dear Ben,
In furniture modeling, we mostly use Baroque, Rococo, King George, Queen Anne, and Chippendale styles, and I really love the Queen Anne style. Regarding modeling in Rhino, I have to say that I don’t think it’s difficult at all. As I explained to other friends before, in Iran, we don’t have the opportunity to buy original versions of software due to the sanctions on the banking system. That’s why we have to use cracked versions, this has given us access to different softwares, I have also worked with 3ds Max, Maya and Zbrush, but I think Rhino meets all my needs and I only use Zbrush if I want to model anatomy and faces, the most important thing in modeling these things is understanding and knowing how to start modeling. Sometimes I spend a day or even more thinking about modeling a sofa to choose the right method and avoid making mistakes. Otherwise, Rhino is a wonderful software.

A very old work made with Rhino and Zbrush.

Yeah, once it’s done, it’s been easy  Before doing it we still have to think a while:)

same. Sometimes it looks like I’m doing nothing but turning the perspective camera, but in reality I think of the best method and complexities for the particular piece. The only other software I use is Mudbox for organic drawings.

I’m actually working right now on a piece of jewelry in baroque style. Sadly I cannot share any of my work, as I’ve signed way too many NDA’s the past 20 years. I have to check the contracts, but I may share it here once it’s been published.

However, here’s a picture of the very old mirror I got from my grand-aunt in Italy:

I love the facts it’s not symmetric, but still in harmony. Massive wood, hand made. Just wonderful!

It is a beautiful mirror :slightly_smiling_face:
In the furniture industry in Iran, we also have something similar to a non-disclosure agreement, but we usually do not sign contracts and most of the time the conversations are done over the phone or on Telegram and WhatsApp. It is very rare that we sign contracts in person unless it is the customer’s first order. I probably have no more than 10 regular customers and I have been working with most of them for more than 5 years. In the furniture industry in Iran,The useful life of each design is only one year, and after that, sales of work decrease, so the customer usually orders a new design after one or two years. The works I shared here are usually from 5 years ago or even older.

I understand. Many things are also mutual here, well, you simply cannot publish a design from a well known brand before they do. And even after they’ve published, they usually don’t want you to brag about the fact that you have produced the jewelry for them. THEY have made it. I could easily destroy my entire enterprise by sharing the wrong picture on the internet.

Interesting, you seem to have a good and stable business with ten regular clients. Congrats, I’m really happy for you! I do appreciate you sharing these pieces of art in any case! Thank you!
