I wonder if there is a way to change the color without reducing the bitmap visibility, as in how Sketchup does? That way, the pattern / image of the bitmap stays as is, just changing the color of it.
Thank you. I should have mentioned that I was hoping for something more visual than Hue Shift because it was a bit unintuitive to use it to change colors.
Hi @l11 ,
I agree, a âcolorizeâ setting would be more intuitive than a hue shift. I filed this request a long time ago as https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-40764 and will add your vote to the wish. Thanks.
FYI @andy
Thank you. Thought this wouldnât be too difficult since thereâs already a color wheel in the material palette.
Any chance this could be added in Rhino 8?
I wanted to vote on the âcolorize settingâ issue in the YouTrack list, but Iâm unable to create a YouTrack account to do so. I get the following error:
âOAuth 2.0 Error â External authentication was successful, but automatic user creation is disabled. Cannot create new Hub user.â
I tried to find a âCreate Accountâ button but havenât been successful.
So Upvote on this, please. One of the things that is holding rhino down is the texturing system. Every time I have to add and manage textures on a project is such a pain.
Iâve added your vote.
