Hi @Joshua_Kennedy ,
I’m trying the new gumball on the UVN and to me looks a great improvment but It seems not sensible to Undo. It’s maybe becasue is too new, but still.
My version is: Rhino 9 SR0 2025-8-26 (Rhino WIP, 9.0.25238.12305)

Undo seems to be working for me here. Do you have any more information? Is it a specific type of geometry? Does it happen every time for you? Or only sometimes?
Don’t know. I’m doing it after BlendSrf. Could be a misinteraction between them?

Yes, I can definitely repeat that in your file. But it doesn’t seem to be related to the Gumball. If I open with Gumball disabled, and drag-move any object, it doesn’t undo.
The original file was made in V8.
The blu part were deformed from flat using FlowalogSrf
@skysurfer I’ve created RH-89089 Nothing to undo
There is a test command that seems to fix undo for that file:
TestUndoEnable
I’m on V9 and this is what I get from copy/paste the command

-R-
sorry, corrected, see above
Yes this works.
Thank you
This is still happening in V9 WIP 9.0.25308.12305, 2025-11-04 and just found your solution.
The TestUndoEnabled made it so I can undo gumball moves but I deleted something on accident and undo did not undo the delete. so not sure this fixes all of my concerns with undo.
Hi Matt -
Do you have a reproducible workflow that we can check?
-wim
if I start creating curves and doing stuff undo works and once I start creating hatch the undo stops working after that command.
Hi Matt -
Thanks.
Please post the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste its output here.
When you create the hatch, and then save and close the file, does undo then still not work when you open the file and move those hatches?
-wim
When the file is saved and re opened the undo functionality is not restored.
system info.txt (2.7 KB)
Just updated and it seems to be fixed. (9.0.25322.6305, 2025-11-18)
Hi Matt -
Yes, this was RH-90457 Annotation Hatch: Creating a hatch clears previous undo stacks
