(bug) Grasshopper Ordinate Dimension Text override

Hello

I’m one user using grashopper.

I’m using Ordinate Dimension, but I think it’s a bug, so I’m reporting it.

In the current Order Dimension, you can replace text entering that location with numbers or letters with the Text Override feature in T.

The letter is confirmed normally on grashopper
If you export it to dxf and check it in autocad, it will be printed with the prefix \rtf1rech.

I’m attaching a simple example gh file, so please review it and if you know the solution, please advise.

  3. Autocad

Ordinate Dimension ex.gh (11.0 KB)
11.dwg (27.6 KB)

I think this is a bug in the Pancake plugin. If you were instead to bake the ordinate dimension into the Rhino Document and then export (via the Rhino interface) the dimension to a .dwg file, then I believe it opens correctly.

I see. Thank you for the good comments. I’ll try to implement the method you recommended.

And is there a way to contact the pancake plug-in?

I just tried it, but after bake, I try to export the selected object and get the same error..

I baked the dimension and exported a *.dxf then opened it in a viewer online.

To find the dim text in the *.dxf file, I changed it to ‘override’

Thanks for reporting. I’ve added a YouTrack item (RH-87383),

Pancake utilizes Rhino for most exports, therefore bugs usually come from Rhino’s exporters.

This issue (RH-87383) should be fixed in the next 8.20 release. Thanks for reporting this.

Thank you very much for your interest in the problem I presented and for fixing it.

May I ask you if you have any other questions about the Rhino function?

When you create a drawing in rhino and change the position of that number, the line follows, and the command window says, “One line has been moved by history.”

I want to use it when I move on to another program, but is there a way to turn over the history itself of the contents of the rhino program??
