This two surfaces causes the boolean fail, if you split them somewhere close to the intersection, it will work

aha really clever solution, i was able to help but in zbrush since i dont really use rhino much these days, zbrush just combined them now am left with the mesh but perfectly combined, will pass this along but looks like a nice solution
this also works in Rhino, if you convert to mesh, the boolean works fine.
