Boolean problem 2

Hello all,

Going trough a tutorial on Digital tutors on how to create a ring.
Attached is a simplified model that I have trouble with.
The main body of the ring somehow gives undesired results when I try to do a ‘difference boolean’.
The problem lies in the ‘main body’, but I cant figure out what it is.

Any idea’s someone?

Hi Robert,

Make sure you check your models with _ShowEdges. There are a couple of discrepancies

Many thanks 2dCube, very helpful indeed.
Its weird, I thought I already got rid of them, but obviously did not.
Further more I cannot see the two short edges that you have in the second image, how can that be?
