Hello guys, I discovered blend surf, and I want to understand how to “match” correctly my surfaces like the drawing but I’m not happy with my attempts. Can someone can help me ?
ExtractSrf and Delete the upper surface of the block
Create a circle of desired diameter at the desired location’
ExtrudeCrv the circle to create a cylinder which is used in creating the first the blend surface. (Alternative is to directly create the cylinder directly without creating the circle.)
BlendSrf between the lower surface and the cylinder. Use Curvature continuity at the lower surface and Tangent continuity at the upper surface. Drag the seam to an appropriate location. Adjust the sliders as desired.
BlendSrf between the upper surface and the lower blend surface. Use Curvature continuity at both ends of the blend. Drag the seam to an appropriate location. Adjust the sliders as desired.
Experiment with the location and diameter of the circle, and the BlendSrf slider positions.
