Black command bar

hey guys ive been using Rhino 5 on my Institutes computer labs. I just installed an evaluation version of rhino on my personal machine for the summer. I just started up the program and the command bar and “layers” window area is black? just looks wrong on the lay out and hides some buttons.

Im attaching a screen shot so everyone can see what im taking about. Anyway to fix this? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing. NO CHANGE.

Rhino Options - Appearance
Click on the Restore Defaults button. That will fix the customization of the Command window.
Continue down into the Colors page and click the Restore Defaults button there too. That should fix your panel colors.
