Is it possible to create a battery that when it is activated, the grasshopper will close?

Is there a way to get the grasshopper player to quit?

I am running my script with this turned on

and I am using Human UI, however this workflow would be useful for any GH player scripts. I did this set-up, which works when I have the grasshopper window open, but not when I run the script using Grasshopper Player with a Rhino button like so

The lack of this option is discouraging to me. Whenever I tried to make some commands with the GUI I quickly forgot what hoops I had to jump through to make it work properly. The inability to completely close a GH Player definition with the button is a big problem. Grasshopper scripts can have components like Query that will run in the background forever if not properly closed. Please listen to @kiteboardshaper

As far as I know there is no youtrack ticket on it as a problem to be solved. Until that happens it’s not likely to be looked at any further.

I would LOVE a simple Rhino Common call that killed a running headless GH dead, but for ‘some reason’ once you launch a grasshopper script without the full GH UI its a zombie until you close Rhino.
