Hi! I’m unable to calculate the area of the below surface. Tried re-trimming it but didn’t work. Is there any other way to do this?

The edge of the surface is self-intersecting at the location of the point at the left in this picture:
Apart from that, you have 3 edge sub-curves (located in the circles) that are 0.001 long, which is what your file tolerance is set to. Your tolerance should be 1 order of magnitude tighter than the smallest feature in your model.
You can duplicate the border of the surface and trim off the self-intersection, then join up again and create a new surface. Area will work on that new surface but those short edges will be gone as well…
