Just tried the exporter. Works real well. I especially like that I can set up lights in Rhino and then hide them (the object, not the illumination) in Maverick. Good job.
Are there any directions on how to install the exporter for Rhino 6? Iām seeing anything to install when I run the installer.
Simply click on āInstallā. We will update the installer next week so that empty list doesnāt show up. But Install will do the trick regardless.
Thank you. Much appreciated.
We announced a perpetual license option today, because many people like you gave that same feedback. It is already displayed on our web shop. Our policy for perpetual licenses goes along the same lines that you described. You are entitled to access all upgrades for that 1-year period. And past that time, the software stays operative, but you no longer have access to upgrades.
Fantastic news, thanks for listening, much appreciated. This now makes business sense to me.
One perpetual license just purchased and am downloading the latest build as I type.
Looking forward to producing some great renders with it.
Canāt seem to download any of the builds from your website, or even the trial. It stops about 1/3 of the way in.
I just tried myself and it downloaded without a problem. I also checked the logs also and there have been quite a few DLs since yesterdayās release too. Are you using a download manager or something unusual taking the download task off the browser? What OS/browser are you using? Can you try with a different browser? Is there enough space in the hard drive? These are the possible causes I can think of.
Here is the direct link for this build just in case: https://cdn.maverickrender.com/downloads/public/builds/Maverick_Studio_20190531_1310.exe
Using Google Chrome on Win10 Pro.
Donāt think itās a problem this end. Have updated Zbrush and ClipPaintStudio without any issues. Lots of storage on HD too. Maybe just high traffic issues. Iāll give that direct link a try, if it fails then Iāll give it a day or two for things to calm down before I try again.
(Edit - the direct link worked, many thanks!)
