Any Ideas why this won't boolean split?

Hi.

Its a closed polysurface that won’t boolean split using a cut plane.

Says they do not intersect ?

The cutting surface is open?

Re-drawing the plane, solved it for me.

Hi Pascal, Running 5.2.1.

So this model is taken from a project I’m working on that somebody else has started.

When ever I take over someone else’s project I always duplicate it and keep the original as a source to go back to.

The original file booleans. Both the duplicate and the exported Problem file that I uploaded don’t.

thanks for that but still no joy.

Used cut plane. Extruded curves, created surfaces etc.

Still nothing

Hi Glenn - looking more closely, and on a Mac this time, I see that it does fail… I’m checking into it. It looks like the curve of intersection with the plane is open.
