Animating Facade Flow / Radial Pattern

Hello,

I am creating a kinetic facade that consist of small squares, trying to animate it to look as though the wind flows through it. I have gotten the script to a point where it creates a random pattern, however I am not sure what I can connect to this so that its not as random and more of a flowing or radial pattern.

Facade is similar to the product at this link: https://extechinc.com/products/kinetic-wall-dynamic-facade/

Pipe is taking 52 seconds :bangbang: (so I disabled it)
Area is taking 25 seconds :bangbang: (so I disabled and replaced it)

MUCH FASTER :bangbang:

Now I can work on animating it…

Thanks! Good to know what was slowing it down so much.

Disabled other slow, irrelevant bits, this is all that matters:

Move the ā€˜Seed’ slider (blue group) to animate.

P.S. Oh, wait, I just noticed these words in the thread title: ā€œRadial Patternā€

That will take more time… Not sure I have that much time right now.

Thanks for that! Yeah I do need a more radial pattern so that it looks like the wind flowing through it. I can do some more research if you don’t have the time. Thanks for the help!

Looks like wind now, I don’t see how a ā€œradial patternā€ would result from wind

Looking for something closer to this.

I found this which is what I am looking for. However not sure how i would connect this back to what i currently have.

That looks like a wind pattern. This is a radial pattern, though not animated.

Good luck, it’s your art project.

Thank you I can work with this!
