A constraint which limits the sum of the angles to a certain value

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to build such a constraint which limits the sum of the angles to a certain value ?

As shown in the pic, 4 quad meshes (not necessarily have all 90degree coners) can rotates into a compact shape by solving an optimization with the constraint.
I tried kangaroo, but the kangaroo angle constraints cannot build relations among multiple angles.

When I posted my last reply I really thought I’d already written something for this, but I could only find something I’d started but not finished. Anyway, I wrote a new goal now - as input it takes a target angle sum (doesn’t have to be 2pi) a strength, and a list of 3n points.
