I am having trouble with basic dimensioning… every time I use dim aligned it doesnt want to follow the aligned… see snippet. Is there a solution for this?
This might be your answer but it depends on exactly what you’re trying to do:
You might have to set your CPlane a certain way. And the dimension will then adhere to that CPlane.
I drew lines to max the axis directions more clear. And the semi-transparent plane (surface) is just drawn on the active CPlane. I use the 3-point method/option as it gives me better axis control. Rhino 8 even has the Auto CPlane but I myself don’t use that.
I can’t quite tell 100% what you’re doing so apologies if I’m off the mark here. Whatever you’re modeling looks pretty cool though!!
