Getting curves and edges in RhinoScript

Continuing the discussion from Get curves and edges in same operation:

I would like to do something like what Mitch was after but in RhinoScript (ask the user to pick a curve and they can pick a curve or surface edge). Can I do that in RhinoScript?

No, RhinoScript does not have the ability to pick edge curves. Rhino.Pyhon does…
