Hi,
often I want to move selected objects with layer names to a new main layer. Here an example: the layer red and green contain a lot of objects.
A few of them are selected and should be moved with her layer names to the layer “seat” like at this screen shot:
I wonder that there is no command at the RMB menu like “move with original layer to”. Could be nice to get this possibility.

You only need to drag the layer on top of the main layer. There are as well the buttons with a red triangle to move the sub-layers.
No, it’s not so easy, it would move all objects of the layers, but I want to move only a part of the objects to sublayers with the original names.
My current workaround is to copy the selected objects to an other Rhino task, change the layer order there and copy them back.
Yes! This would be nice. duplicating layers and then deleting certain elements from both layers is combersome
