What are Dynasets?

I’m getting a new peculiarity:

This just occurred twice. Both times I was clicking on a curve to select it. Rhino went “Not Responding” for about a minute and then this message appeared.
Nick

That looks like an error occurring in a plug-in. ODBC drivers are what applications use to communicate with Databases

Hmmm. OK, but what are dynasets? The only loaded and enabled plug-in I have is RhinoCam. I also have Grasshopper, Weaverbird and Flamingo but they aren’t loaded. This has just started happening without any changes to the plug-ins.
Nick

Core Rhino doesn’t connect to any databases, but I can imagine quite a few plug-ins doing this and it is very possible that RhinoCam could be doing this. You might want to check with MecSoft.

OK, thanks Steve. Could it be that the Zoo uses Dynasets? Apparently someone unplugged our license server for a few minutes.

Nope.

I disabled RhinoCam and no more messages (so far) so I guess it is related to that.
Nick

Definitely RhinoCAM. You get it when it can’t find the dongle. I get this all the time. --Mitch

thanks Mitch.
