Hello, is there another way to insert text for an annotation than using the properties tab? It is quite impractical to insert text in the properties tab because the maximum text length seems to be restricted by the width of the tab.

I regret to say the width of the text field in the properties tab has some limits. You can expand the panel to see more of it, but at some point it doesn’t grow more. It also depends on the screen ressolution. We may consider an option for a text box field or something that solves this issue.
