Unroll Brep Problems

I hope someone here can help me here:

When I unroll simple BREP geometries (for example my rectangular towers), this works without any problems. However, as soon as I want to unroll more complex shapes, difficulties arise, such as overlapping surfaces or other problems. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how best to overcome such challenges? I want to end up with a smooth unrolled surface that I can continue working with :slight_smile:

Hello, you need to remove the L-shaped yellow colored surfaces and unjoin the pink colored edges.
In the real world you can’t get an object like this by folding a single sheet, you will have to cut some surfaces separately and add them later.

The edges that will split can be specified before unrolling:

  1. Use the UnjoinEdge command
  2. Select the edges that should be open after unrolling.
