Text Panel does not display \t tabs

its a small thing, but it would be nice if "\t" is displayed in the panels… (and other escape characters?)

I’d do it in a heartbeat if I could draw them in a different colour, but if they look the same, wouldn’t you have trouble knowing whether a panel contained a TAB or the text \t?

i dont know what the ‘special codes’ item does on a panel, but couldn’t it be some toggle like that?
Once active it treats \t as tab etc.

Those were only supposed to work when the panel is used to specify text. So you can type \t and it becomes a tab. However even that doesn’t appear to be working at the moment…

Hi.
Any news in this matter?

… it would be good for very quick exporting into excel: each tab character convert to a new column…
