As per the image I have shared in that I have added cross section for sweep 1 rail in the mid point and while I have applied the sweep 1 rail it is giving only in half part not full I tried but unable to resolve.
Also I am facing the same issue for the sweep 2 rail while sometimes the cross section is at the mid of both rails.
So how can I resolve this issue.
if any video or tutorial is there let me know for this.
The most common cause of this is where the cross-section curve is placed along the rail. In Sweep 1 (and Sweep 2), Rhino sweeps the profile from its position along the rail to the end of the rail — it does not sweep the full rail length if the profile is placed in the middle.
To get a full sweep:
Place your cross-section curve at or very near the start of the rail curve, not the midpoint.
If you want the sweep to go both directions from the midpoint, split the rail into two segments and run two separate sweeps.
For Sweep 2 specifically:
Both rails need to run the full intended length.
If your cross-section sits at the midpoint between the two rails, check that the profile snaps exactly to both rails at one end.
General tips:
Run Dir on your rail curves before sweeping — the arrow shows which direction the sweep will travel. If the arrow points away from your cross-section, the profile is behind the start point.
In the Sweep dialog, try “Refit rail” if you are getting unexpected trimming.
If you can share the .3dm file, it will be much easier to pinpoint exactly what is happening.
So like if I do with the cross section at the mid and divide the sweep rails into 2 part from cross section and apply the rail 2 times am I right??
also I have stil one qiestion that is there any other way to do as there are many same problem I am facing where the shape is like closed from both side as I have shown in the image and need to add the shape at there is give me some suggestion I am sharing the rhino file for the same also.
