Split Brep Multiple

Hi All,

A quick question regarding split brep multiple. I wanted to split the brep by the two surfaces generated in rhino. However, when the arrayed curve/surfaces changes angle, the split selections switched sides (as shown in the picture). How can I select only the left, middle or right of the split brep ?
