It can cause due to duplicate segments in same place. Explode it and use command SelDup to select duplicate segments and delete it. Then try joining again.
It says no duplicates can be found.

How did you manage that?!!! I exploed everything and rejoined but could not get the last two together!

The problem is at place where it is not joining. You need to zoom close at joining point and see where there are 2 curves. explode the problematic curve and delete duplicated segment. And try joining again.
@akche001 Hi again. The code has developed a bit now. I have found an issue. I need to set a grid spacing in the x-axis relative to the curved surface which dictates the nodes on the bottom chord of the truss. However my surface is divided using a U count. See the attached dpf and cluster. Any ideas how I can change this to set the x-axis to 5.8m and build the truss from that? Surface division by x-axis.pdf (172.6 KB) Cluster.ghcluster (13.5 KB)
