Small request for Join of meshes

Could we, like when joining surfaces into a (possibly) closed polysurface, get feedback on the command history window about the result of joining meshes?

Now it is 86 meshes joined into 1.
I would like it to be one of the following, giving me immediate feedback on whether my mesh is watertight:

86 meshes joined into 1 closed mesh.
86 meshes joined into 1 open mesh.

Would be cool to have that, and also add the info if the result is disjoint or not, as Join will always join any number of meshes into just one (disjoint or not).
