Is it possible to remove the slider from number slider and leave only the box where we enter the numerical value?
No, this is not possible at the moment. We will keep your suggestion in mind. In the meanwhile, you could use a Direct Text Input instead to let users enter number (it will just miss number validation).
We do not have plans to support a digit scroller UI at the moment.
