Simple Regions from Closed Curves / Region Difference not working

Hi All,

This is probably a really simple one: I have got a whole bunch of closed curves (polylines from Rhino), one of which bounds them all.

I would like to subtract the centre ‘regions’ from the bounding ‘region’ - and be left with a closed surface representing the space between.

I attach images and the simple GH script I connected - does anyone know why the resultant region is not as expected?

It seems that Region Difference doesn’t work well.
In this case, it would be better to cut with solid cutters.
