I very much second the wider scroll bars. I had made a thread about this some time ago; it just never got noticed. But there I talk about various scrollbar widths (I think I would prefer 10-13 pixels) and on that other thread I also show how an app called Snagit manages to have a thin-looking scrollbar that is still easy to grab (my personal preference is for one that maintains its width, but a snagit-like scrollbar would also be quite acceptable).
I’m no expert on UI or scrollbars or anything. Not by a long shot. I was just trying to see what was out there in the software I use and try to find out what I personally like.
