Scale problem with *stl export from Rhino to Ansys

Continuing the discussion from STL file import/export scale problems:

I am working on a surface in Rhino in “mm”, and when I import it to Ansys’s static-structural module for structural analysis, it is 10 times bigger. I also tried to work in “cm” in Rhino, and at that time the imported version in Ansys was 1/10th smaller. I’m not sure why the scale is off by a factor of 10, either bigger or smaller? Any help is deeply appreciated

STL files don’t have unit information, so it’s a matter of letting Ansys know what the units are or learning what it expects the units to be.
