This idea works really well
Solid operations are far quicker and cut/fill volumes are the same.

Mesh faces are culled when their centers are more than five times the road width away. Improvements could be reducing the jagged shapes and re-integrating mesh fragments.
P.S. Re-integrating culled mesh fragments is easy and relatively quick (orange group). The slowest part of all this, not reflected in Profiler times, is just rendering a large mesh with so many faces.

NOTE: Disabling the MeshB cluster in the orange group saves ~10 seconds and looks fine showing only the holed mesh terrain from CullF.
