:: Rhino V6 performance suggestions ::

Hi all,
I have a project file (size about 50MB) with medium details, and I still need to add like 3X details, but Rhino already got much slower. And Grasshopper takes a lot of time when backing (sometimes more than 10 minutes).
Is there’s any way to reduce the amount of the project data (like convert to vary mesh in 3Ds MAX) to increase the performance?
Appreciate any suggestions,
Elshar

Hello Elshar,

How much of your of you RAM is left over after you load this file ?
Thank you,
Andy

Hi Andy,
6.6 is used of 7.9.
Thank you,
Elshar

Hello Elshar,

So it would seem that there is not much RAM left over after you load the file. So maybe this is contributing to the slowness. Maybe adding more RAM might help ? Another related factor might be how much of the " Total Video Memory: 4 GB" is being used.

Thank you, Andy
