Rhino crashing upon Trim command - for any model, any surface

I did the update for Rhino yesterday, so I have the latest version. Been trying to trim some surfaces today for multiple models - very simple surfaces, just trimming into circles, and Rhino is crashing upon completion of each trim command. I.e., I trim the surface, it trims, then it crashes.

Windows Event viewer shows up w/ this error each time for Rhino

Yeah I guess it’s a known issue, fixed for the next version…

Any idea when that will be released? Kind of need to get these models done for work and if the trim command is not working that is sorta difficult.

I guess I can try split and just delete for now.

Next SRC should be released on Tuesday. You can download the latest Service Release, Uninstall the Service Release Candidate, and install the latest Service Release. You will need to uninstall the SR manually.

Imho, could be good that rhino can switch automatically from SR to SRC and back to SR just selecting it in rhino options.
When you close Rhino, a message should appear advising that a downgrade from SRC to latest SR is possible (like the one we have when new update is ready to install).

I’m having the exact same issues on my personal PC but not my work PC. What’s the process to roll back SR?

Don’t know if it is possible from Apps → Rhino7 → Modify or Repair…
Another way could be to go back to a system restore point before SRC installation or to try to install manually the SR over the SRC… but don’t know if the last way is correct to overwryte all the changes made by SRC.

Uninstall the SRC.
Download the latest Service Release, Rhino - Downloads
Install the latest Service Release.

Not possible.

No need to make it that complicated. Follow the instructions above.

For what it is worth, it appears that I only crash when I trim a polysurface. If I explode surfaces first, I have managed not to crash. Hoping tomorrow’s update solves this one
