Rhino 8 Autosave on Every Export

All the builds of Rhino 8 that I have tested (now 8.5.24058.13001) have seemed to use the autosave function excessively EVERY TIME I export objects to new files. Because I am working with heavy files, this has slowed my process down to an extreme degree since the autosave is occurring on the main Rhino file.

I do not have “export” listed under the ‘always autosave after these commands’ and there does not seem to be any way to turn this function off through advanced settings. Rhino 6 did not seem to autosave in the same way before exporting any files.

Is this intentional in Rhino 8? Is there another way to limit the autosave?

Hi Paul - this does not happen here, in a quick test at least - how are you calling Export? A macro, or button, or command line typing?

I am calling ‘export’ or ‘_export’ from the command line.

Now that I look at it, it seems this is not an issue with the export command, but with downsaving to Rhino 6.
