Even in a completely blank rhino 7 file, no matter what when I try to make a new layout or save to pdf my entire tab freezes for whatever reason. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

So what do you mean by “freeze” and what are you using as the PDF printer?
The entire rhino tab says (not responding) and turns white shen I’m trying to create a new layout. It eventually loads the new layout when i make one, but it takes ridiculously long, like minimum 10+ minutes. And the same is when im exporting to pdf, not even necessarily printing.
Okay so it’s not crashing just being slow, “freezing” when busy is normal.
Does this happen on any and all files?
Yea. Even on completely blank files and when my computer has nothing else open.
Well see if disabling Climate Studio helps, then send a file that shows this.
Unfortunately it did not change anything.

Well this may be getting in to the territory of having to do a screen share with tech support. Has this just started? Could there be some cooling problem with your laptop utterly murdering performance? Can’t be that old with a 4060….

In a new file from a factory-default template, at which point does making a new layout cause the freeze? Does that also happen when you create a layout without any details, or does there have to be a detail on the page?
