Rhino 6: _TextObject not working and crash

Hi…,

my customer has two problems with Rhino 6:

  1. _TextObject doesn’t do anything
  2. Editing dimension settings crashes Rhino 6

TextObject work fine on my computer. This video shows a crash during Options > Units command.

Hi @Andrew_Nowicki,

TextObject works on my PC too. The video shows both, first that clicking on TextObject doesn’t do anything and then the crash.

I wonder if updating Windows 7 to SP2 would help.

I’ve talked to the customer, _TextObject seams to work again. I haven’t heard anything about the dim crash.

This thread describes 2 different problems. Do you have both?
Please provide details of which command(s) you use and what the result is.
Also, please post the result of the Rhino SystemInfo command here.

I think installing all latest Service Releases of Windows 7 fixed the problem of my customer.
