Guide lines are visible when the SmartTrack pane is turned on and the guide lines are parallel to the viewport.

The guide lines disappear when the angle between the guide lines and the viewport is greater than about 50 degrees. This is a bug because the guide lines should always be visible when the SmartTrack pane is turned on.

Hello - this is true for perspective views but should not be for parallel views. I do not know if it is possible to make it work as you expect in perspective.
