Refresh BlendCrv Continuity Option?

Hey,

I would like to have an upgrade on the BlendCrv command or is it even possible somehow?

When using the BlendCrv option it happens very often that…

_the curve is starting from the opposite end of the edge, I flip it but…

_I need to adjust the start and end point of the curve, but..

… the initialy created smooth G2 BlendCrv is broken/ the points are distributed differently. To get it back to the smooth version I always have to change to continuity back to G0 and then back to G2. I would be great to just have a button to refresh it.

Whats your opinion on that?

Can you post a a 3dm file with the geometry and points/textdots that explain exactly where to click in the command. I’m having trouble reproducing your issue just from the screenshots.

FYI BlendStart is always set to =CurveEnd

BLENDCRV_REFRESH.3dm (56.6 KB)

Got it, it is a combination of starting at the wrong side, flipping the direction, then moving the start point (or moving start points, then flipping).

I have created a YouTrack issue for this request to tune up the behaviour of BlendCrv.

Thanks! You got my point correctly.

If the command could update itself as soon as the start or end point is moved as you explained, that would also be perfect. Kind of like starting the command again everytime it changes the start/end. But a refresh button could be an option, in case the user like the curve it creates.
