Can someone explain why linetypes in R8 “panels” are so oversized? Original post here:
Linetypes are not materials, view preview thumbnails, textures, anything that requires more than the width of a “line” to display, yet R8 forces two problems onto the user: 1) a squiggle to display something that should be straight and 2) a ton of wasted pixels above and below the critical information (name and pattern), so you have to scroll to survey the situation. Plus the bugs in the other thread ^. How is this a good idea? Am I missing something?
Previously in R7 and before. Holy smokes, this is clear, economical, easy to read, copy and edit without scrolling around - nice, appreciated:
