Problem on orienting shapes onto surface

Hello! I am trying to create a script where the circles oriented to my rhino surface can vary in size according to its distance from my attractor surface. But I m having problems orienting the circles onto the surface, as you may see from my screenshot. When i tried using the orient tool in grasshopper, the circles become scattered. May anyone please enlighten me? :pray: thanks!

Hi!
Instead of using the Circle, you can use a Circle CNR and input the Normals of the Surface Division as normals for the Circles.
You will have to remove the points on the edges of the surface, as you will not be able to drill holes there.
