If anyone would like to try simulating acoustics in Rhino 8, now is your chance. Pachyderm for Rhino 8 is finally available for public use/testing.

To install Pachyderm Acoustic Simulation in Rhino 8, find Pachyderm in the package manager.

Does this version also work with Rhino 7?

No. The old one does. I could compile this one for .net framework and rhino 7, but it will be slower.

If you can go to rhino 8, it would be much better for you.

Hey Arthur. Any suggestions on compiling for Rhino 7, for those of us who are still a version behind?

Hi Mark,

It should compile the same way it does for Rhino 8, but you will be referencing the libraries from your Rhino 7 install.

That said, it is much better running it on .netCore rather than the old .Net Framework. If you can update, you should do it.
