Im not able to offset my curve with 4 metres distance. i tried sweep and all other methods but its not happening. i have attached my rhino file. can someone please help me with this MCNEEL.3dm (36.7 KB)
I found a short closed curve in your file, I think this is the reason for your failure.
outward curve is working. offset inward please. its breaking the geometry
Because the offset distance value usually cannot be larger than the minimum arc value on the curve to be offset.
BTW, I found that it is not a planar curve, you need to “flatten” it before your run Offset to it,
