Mesh smoothing

Hi, Can anybody point me to a component or something to help me with the mesh attached. My problem is that I am getting jagged mesh at the external edges and I would like to smooth this edges. Is there anyway? ThanksMesh.gh (19.2 KB)

Th best is with your hand and mouse !!! Or split the mesh instead of deleting faces.

Hello here is a solution using Grasshopper. As I understand you want to apply displacement and depending of the displacement colorize your mesh. I have done a mesh isoplitting which could be useful. I propose you a script that is doing a real egg shape as a surface. This surface is remeshed and some displament is added as a proportion on the height with a sinus. But you could imagine whatever function you want. and then iso splitting, enter a mesh, a value for each point and an iso value and…

You could use Laplacian smoothing but it will smooth everything.

Grasshopper has some magic things but not yet human skills.

Have you one mesh or many meshes ?
For one do it by hand.
For many you could use some attractor with a curve as guide.
