Manipulate surfaces with trimmed edges and have surfaces realign?

Hi there, I’m trying to learn how to manipulate surfaces that have been created by trimming and lofting, using control points. As you can see in these images, I’ve pulled the two larger shrunken surfaces to the left with their control points, but the loft between them does not pull along with them.

I feel like I’ve seen this done with the record history command in the past, but can’t seem to figure out how at this time.

I’ve used polygonal modeling programs like Blender where the surrounding surfaces automatically realign during manipulation, and you can set it up so that it automatically mirrors across a center plane. Any tips on how to do this in Rhino? I feel it would make the design exploration process a lot more fun and intuitive.

Thanks,

Joel

Hello- if you create your edge loft with History, there is a chance it could work out but I would not be too confident that edge surface will look any good - it will depend on just what the surface edits are, I guess.
