Can anyone tell me if there is a function or plugin that will allow me to create joints in Rhino?

I need to test mechanical geometry and it’s very time consuming to move objects one piece at a time to test the relationship of parts in a design.

You could look into Kangaroo for Grasshopper.
Here’s a video describing how to set up joints.
