The Role
Join us as a Construction Technology Specialist (full-time) in a unique position that combines hands-on construction estimation with cutting-edge automation development.
What makes this role special:

50% Operations: Perform quantity takeoffs and estimations of construction projects, working directly with construction drawings and specifications

50% Technology: Develop and improve Grasshopper scripts that automatically generate 3D models from database objects, integrated with Revit through Rhino.Inside.Revit

Bridge Two Worlds: Translate real construction knowledge into automated workflows, directly impacting how AI understands building processes

Direct CTO Reporting: Work closely with technical leadership to shape our automation roadmap
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience:

3-5 years in the construction industry, specifically with:
-
Reinforced concrete structures (residential, commercial, or infrastructure)
-
Structural contractors, general contractors, or estimation firms
-
Understanding of concrete construction processes, formwork, and rebar placement
-

Revit experience with structural models (intermediate level - you don’t need to be a BIM expert)

Intermediate proficiency with Rhino and Grasshopper, including:

Understanding of computational logic and parametric design principles
-
Experience creating and modifying Grasshopper definitions

Python programming knowledge
-
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for quantity takeoffs

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (LATAM operations/US clients)

Experience working on US construction projects

Power user proficiency with generative AI tools - essential for success in our AI-native startup environment
Technical Skills:

Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications

Understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards

Familiarity with 3D modeling concepts and parametric design principles
Soft Skills:
