respect. Will give it a go. Thanks
Thanks. It works now. All the best
Cool, enjoy
I got the exact same problem (as FOI described above).
Latest WIP and GHShaderNode files.
Unblocked all 3 files in the zip-file after copying into libraries folder.
- FSharp.Core.dll
- FsShaderGraphComponents.gha
- ShaderGraphResources.dll
Restarted Rhino several times. No avail…
Any ideas what else could prevent the components from loading?
TIA, Frank
I need to release a new version. I have made changes to CCSycles that cause the nodes plug-in to fail loading. You can see the error message by opening the info for a failed component. I’ll let this thread know when I’ve released a newer version that works with current WIP.

Ok, thanks for clarification, Nathan.
Is it possible to render gh geometry not baked one?
Raytraced already renders the custom meshes added by GH. It would be nice if one could select an existing Rhino material to assign to GH geometry without baking.
Quick sample.
edit: I have created a v0.0.2 release of the shader nodes: https://github.com/mcneel/GhShaderNodes/releases/tag/v0.0.2
It looks like the visual studio build is for rhino 6 and lastest gh.
I will try to built it via source code.
Do I need to install something besides those .dll and .gha files?
Is it possible to build it for rhino 5, just correcting erros in f sharp I do not have idea how to solve them all. Even it is just bunch of missing libraries.
Raytraced and GhShaderNodes are created for Rhino 6 specifically. You could try building GhShaderNodes for Rhino 5, but you’ll need CCSycles as well, then.
Ah yes. Due to some mix up in the release mechanism of our WIPs I had a wrong version automatically downloaded and installed. Since tomorrow most likely a new WIP will go out of the door I think I’ll just wait until that is a fact, so that you can test it against that. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It just means I need to publish a new build of the latest shader nodes version.
This feature is only for V6
Or do you mean that you installed it in Rhino WIP, but then you get that error in the v5 Grasshopper you have on the same machine? (I somehow didn’t notice the v5 part in your question).
Yes, I mean, I am using V5 and WIP. I am not expecting the nodes to work in V5, but the error message - makes me ask…
@DavidRutten may have to chime in on this. I’m not sure if there is a special folder just for V6 components or a way to specify one just in V6
