Import all Layers from another Rhino-file

Hello! Is it possible to transfer all layers (without objects!) of one Rhino-file into another? Unfortunately I can’t find an import option for this…

Hi David - there is an unfinished test (i.e. use at your own risk and it does not autocomplete) command ImportFrom3dmFile that may do the job if you get all the command line settings right - I am not sure it does anything at this point but worth a shot.

I just gave that a quick go and was able to import Parent::Child layers with no issues.

I found when i use ‘ImportLayout’, all the layers (parent & child) come through too, which isn’t too ideal and kinda mess up my current file
